Anybody know how to put these into a Word Document? You know the kind of thing ... slight advantage to White, Black etc, but in symbolic form.
Best wishes,
Clive

I don't think Word has those symbols in any of the normal fonts, with the exception of those that are also normal symbols in mathematics. I used the Character Map program to look for some (in Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Character Map : or charmap at the run prompt).
You probably will need a chess font or some other font to get them. At least, as far as I know.

I think I sorted out a solution. I found a way of pasting a character into a jpeg and then rotating it with Windows Paint(in this case the plus-minus sign) so you have a Black advantage sign as well as a White advantage sign.
Not brilliant, but usable!

I did a quick search on google for chess fonts and there are some on the one page I looked at that might also have the symbols built in. Might be worth a look too.

Do you have the link, Martin?

Some of first sets on the page only appear that they have pieces, from the descriptions, but some of the later ones might have the symbols. I haven't installed any of them so I can't say for sure.
