When I move the king to steps to the right, the castle cannot be moved to the left of the king.
Can anyone help?
Thanks, Tim

Just move your King two squares towards the side you want your King to go, the rook will follow. You should see the King castled properly BEFORE clicking the "Move" button. Otherwise, it didn't work.

NB. Castling doesn't work in 'think' mode (well, not on my computer). You have to move King and Rook.

Indeed. If one is practising on the board, the special moves of en passant and castling are not automatic and one needs to move the pieces individually.
However, when a move is about to be committed then it becomes automatic. So moving one's King those TWO squares ensures that the Rook will also be positioned accordingly. If this does not happen then it's time to read the rules of chess again.
