this is a problem, 2 of us in our group cannot advance in the second round because of this time exhausted game, the tournament will be forever not finish

Automatic time expiry claims should be introduced.

Automatic timeouts in tournament games

Tournament games should be automatically awarded when one over steps the time control.

One reason games are never claimed may be both players abandoned the game.
