You could also try to offer your opponent a draw.

This isn't good faith, but I just think you inverted the moves and would rather you didn't.

I'm not making this up if thats what you're saying.
But i can understand that you would think that, i would think the same :)
But why would i do that and make a fool out of myself?
It's just a single game, it's not a tournament, it's not that i have a rating to defend..
What if it happend to you? (now i do make it sound like a big deal :))
All i know is that i got the mail, checked the board just to have a look. I didn't even want to make a move.. Just take a look and i was amazed to find out that this move was already done. I wanted to play the rook to h4 but not even at that moment.. Just a quick look and later on check if this is the right move.
Btw i'm not a very good chess player. Only been playing for a few months

Things like that don't happen to me without my knowledge. Either I make a mistake and I suck it up, or I don't make a move without noticing because as it turns out I can get around computers fairly well.

Whatever happened, I doubt it was magic.

To extend on what I was saying, the way I see it, it might be plausible (if we forget Rh4 for a minute) that you planned Rxc4 before Rxf5, whereas in this situation Black cannot recapture safely because of the pin on the Queen. Rxf5 in lieu of Rxc4 would simply be an inversion of move (hence my previous comment about moves being inverted). This stuff happens, but it's never the fault of anyone but the player's own.

Anyway, essentially, even if I were to believe you, that you didn't do it and that somehow you didn't make the move, I don't think there's anything that can be done about it, because it's hardly verifiable. Bottom line is I think you're going to have to suck it up, however it happened.

I'm sorry if you don't like my no-faith philosophy. I'm just rational.
