What sorts of things do you write in the private notes window availible in each game?
I like to note:
the status of the players in my grop for example
alpha 10 possible 12
beta 6 possible 8
gamma 4 possible 8
delta 0 possible 0

I also like to make a note when the game has gone beyound published opening analysis.

And ofcourse If I discover an excellent rebuttle to a possible reply of my opponent I note that so I dont forget.

What do you write in your notes?

I play quite fast so I use the notes to remind myself of traps I've set or could fall into.

I don't use it often but perhaps especially for those really slow opponents that use the full time.
It helps to recall something important about a position I no longer have in short term memory.

I use it for lines. Either a key tactical threat that I've noticed during analysis that I think I'd overlook if I played the next move too quickly, or Kotov style lines around complications. Sometimes I also use it to know which opening I'm in.

When I'm working and cannot even focus on one variation to its completion, I'll use it to go little chunks at a time so I don't have to start over and over and over and over... etc. ?:-(
