Who can see the private notes? Your opponent?

No ... only you can see them ... they are private. 
|

There would be no point to "private" notes if your opponent could see them. Might as well send him or her a message if that were the case.

I contend that if they had been simply called "notes" or perhaps "personal notes", nobody would have ever worried about them. It's the "private" part that makes it suspicious to certain of us, somehow. Compare to an ad saying that there are "No Extra Costs Involved".

LOL ... it's a good thing that miguel didn't call them "Top Secret Notes" then! 
I suppose miguel might be able to see the notes unless they are stored locally on our machines.
