Yes, this is shameless behavior. I feel very sorry for the players who have been duped by this fellow. For the record (mine, not his), his characters combined for 15 Intermediate, 2 Open, 1 Beginner and 2 Private tournaments. Sadly, his is probably not an isolated case. Good hunting, OnlyJoking.

If you look at this tournament three of the named players are in the same bracket, and yes, there is a striking similarity to the games.

Whenever one plays another the game is a sham. There are several similar tournaments.

I can't believe that Don Vito is still playing. I am playing one game against him which I have slowed down. I don't see why I should resign and lose points. He has even challenged me to a game - actually suggesting we sort things out with a game of chess. I've posted a note in Portugese as D V always writes to me in English translated from that language. Perhaps he hopes that non-English speakers won't know what's going on.
