I have organized a tournament "vautrien" with 20 players. Now, for the 4e round we are just 15 players. I thought 5 players choosed to lost It, but " Gitano" send me a messag like he didn't stop the tournament. What's the problem with my tournament and your computer ?

I believe that when a player lets their time expire in a Swiss-style tournament, they are excluded from the next round. Yes, here is the rule:
Players who lost a game because they failed to make their move on time will be disqualified and will not participate in the remaining rounds of the tournament.
You can see this information in About This Site >> Tournaments >> Swiss System Tournaments.
There may be other reasons but the most obvious is to not hold up a tournament round after round when a player has left Queen Alice.
