No Sovay, we're playing mind games.

Thanks Corvidae, you saved my day by reminding me that I live Down Under. Now I can tell Phystutordotcom with a straight face that our frying pan when cooking is upside down as viewed by an observer from the North Pole.

I must remind you that when some one asks me, "What's up?" I tell them zenith. When they look confused by I explain that up is away from the center of the Earth. Zenith is directly overhead essentially the same thing.

So if Kookaburra comes from the land down under I ask,"Under what?"

BTY Occassionally people ask, "What's nu?" Nu is the letter in the greek alphabet after mu. How do you spell that, "t-h-a-t"

Most people dont ask a 4th question.

Whew, such a mean curve. Like a returning boomerang/batarang. I'm lost with the 4th question.

However, changing the field of view does not deny the long-established world view. That the North Pole is the zenith and the South Pole is the nadir of the Globe. North is up. South is down.

Let me try spelling nu with the help of the Wikipedia: N-i-e-u. BTY.

Depends the food you like to cook. As a Chef myself, I recommend the frying pan top down for all the dishes you don´t like, wherever you are!
