Topic: vacation rules for tournaments

I cannot find any information regarding taking vacation days when playing tournament games. Do the same rules apply that are in effect for regular rated games? Would appreciate any input from other members of the site.

Yes, and tournaments can take more than a year to finish, easily.
That's still better than the good ol' correspondence chess that went through the mail, if that is any consolation.
And mind you, at least some of the players that claim vacation time actually are on their holiday when they claim it!
