First off, just to be clear, I understand that tournaments can not be run on the basis of who is ignoring whom, and therefore are different. I am talking only of non-tournament games and the rest of the site.
What good is the "Ignore" feature if it doesn't ignore someone?!? If I ignore someone, I don't want to see his messages in ANY game, tournament or not, and he should NOT be able to mess me up by taking my public game invitations!
The "Ignore" feature is VERY poorly implemented on this site.

Sounds as though we should ignore the ignore feature.
I am not sure what the ignore feature does. I think it prevents messeges from players in "my messages" I use it to help me maintain my most completed games list. Players on the list who have not logged on in months might be on that list. I also use it as a reminder of players I dont want to invite to my private tournaments. A player did not claim a win on time in a game 10 da tournament. This delayed the tournament by a month. I thought that was a big deal in a game 10 day event.
