I dont believe it is possible for players to abuse the rules. However it is possible for players to demonstrate that a rule is flawed. I think our rules on vacation need to be modified.

There should be a limit on how much vascation time a player can use in one game. It is possible for one player to use 90 days of vacation before moving. This is especially disruptive in a Game/10 day tournament.

I think that the amount of vacation time a player uses in one game should not exceed his opponents by more than 14 days in a 7 day/ move tournament. Change the 14 to 3 in a g/10 day tournamnet.

Not only can vacation time frustrate one opponent, it can delay a tournament.

Another rule change we need is automatic forfiet when time is exceeded. When a player chooses to to claim a win on time exuasted it effects everyone in the tournament.

I went on a two month world trip this year. Not exactly to meainstream places either. I really needed more than the 45 days this year. I'd usually need a lot less. The point is, not everyone is logged in to QA 24/7.
