Not from here (Amsterdam)! Getting from the first page of this thread to the next took a whole minute.
Don't know if that helps any, but the slowdown is either periodic, where it lasts a while and goes away for a while, or it's worse for some page transitions than others.
Getting this message up was instantaneous though, just like switching back to edit this sentence in.

this is a good site but in the last few weeks has been extremely slow for logging on, moving or anything to do with this site-very frusterating!!! if its just me let me know, but every other site i go on loads fast???
