Hello. This is for our computer experts. I'm using Windows 7 home premium. On the QA site I get words highlighted in blue (not the usual link words) for example, at the moment the word HOME on the left panel is blue. When I click on them they go to adverts which I can't get out of except by closing QA. This doesn't happen on other sites. Any ideas?

What browser and version are you using?

Possibly some kind of plugin installed in hour browser.

Definitely not from QA. Like whyBish said, you must have inadvertently installed a plugin that tries to trick you into clicking these words which then generate ad income to the plugin maker.
Review the installed plugins in your browser and uninstall anything you don't specifically installed yourself.
