We share a dislike of the 50 game rule. There is more than 1 reason to comply with it. A draw back of having many accounts is none of your accounts have lots of completeted games. My goal get thouSands of completed games caused ne to abide by the 50 gmes rule.
You have complained about players who use fritz. I dont know if there is much of a difference between players who use fritz and players who are so good that I have no chance to win. In both cases I lack motivation. If you play in class tournaments you will avoid fritz users that have used fritz for so long that their rating is too high for the tournament.
The occasioanal cheater is one of the things we endure to enjoy a free site. I think that multiple users are less common on ICC becuase it costs money to play there. they also have ways to catch cheaters who use computers.
We should allow players to declare that they use computers and add a (C) to there name. We then would have tournaments that allow computer help and tournaments that dont. Maybe out of every 5 events would be for players who use computers and players who dont care that there opponents use computers. The are many players here who dont care if there opponents use computers.
The downside for you would be you might have to wait for a tournament that users computers to fill up before you could join one that does not.
For me there is not much of a difference between being crushed by Bergmen and a player who uses fritz.

I too like to provoke dialogue in the forums. My attempts have all been good natured. Some of the dialogue I have provoked has been venomous but those replies came as a surprise. (and not in this thread).

I agree with Miguel (see Off Topics posting by Miguel). I brought the subject of cheating out in to the open to show what is going on. But I did not intend animosity between players. I will no longer comment upon other players and will leave the site. But, and this is a big But, please please, watch what is going on and let Miguel know if you think something isn't right. Farewell.

Ya, would you believe me if I tell you I don't care about it any further? As I told here before, I don't care about tourneys anymore and I will choose the ones I will challenge, if I stay.
In accordance to your message to Blutigeroo, I'm more suspicious because I'm new, I have two accounts, I let Mahjones (a ex-friend) play in my computer sometimes. The drawbacks are not favorable. Early I've got some proves that don't help me not even a little.
Gotta assume the blame on me, even in response for others. But don't worry, I'm not that happy with QA, even this site being so wonderful, full of problems, but still wonderful.
It was such a pleasure to meet you, even virtually.
