First a few guidelines.
I intend this discussion to be about the dreams you have while you are asleep. Chess should play a major role in your dream. However these topics tend to go off on unexpected tangents. Remember Miguel expects a family friendly website. Some dreams are not suitable for 8 year old readers? I will begin with a bizarre dream. I expect there will be a bit of good natured teasing but nothing abusive. Remember we are in the OFF TOPIC forum. This is the proper place for irrelevant nonsense.

Dreaming of any game or puzzle is a good idea. When I go to bed with my wife I always dream I'm doing a crossword puzzle - mind you, it's a long time since I got one across!

I just dreamt that I was the captain of a chess team. League rules required teams to be 6 players, at least 2 humans and at least 2 dogs. There were many talented dogs in this league with USCF ratings between 1600 an 2000. They tended to growl a lot. I was board 1 on my team and had to play several teams that had a dog on board 1. Oh the league rules did not specify that the other 2 players had to be either a human or a dog but all the players were either human or dog. There weren’t any giraffes in this league.

And what about bulls? Are they alowed to play in that league? I've got one who is a pretty good player. And very agressive. Maybe he could play in your team and replace you at the first board.

Anyway,
for me it is very hard to dream about chess. I am used to dream about female creatures and always sleep as a rose. My chessplaying animal, Pit Bull  , is out of the question. He is male.
That means that I should dream about Queens. But I don't know one nice queen. all I know are not exactly goodlooking and friendly. And please, don't suggest I should dream about Queen Alice. Got already nightmares while I'm awake.
Nice beatifull pricesses, yeaaaah, lots of them. May I suggest that from now on we call the Queen Princess on this site.
