A farmer who couldnt afford fertilizer found a cave with bat droppings. He told his friend that he thought he could use this instead of fertilizer but he did not know how much to use becuase he did not know the nitrogen or phosperous concentration in the bat droopings. His friend told him he should do a guanotative analysis.

Why separate science and religion in the quest for truth? Man and woman, night and day, heaven and earth--useless each without the other. Duality of things/nature, there is.
The conflict only arises when anyone(only a human being)declares he has the truth when all he has is an illusion. In the quest for a Theory of Everything, humankind remains babes in the woods.

We believe the Flying Spaghetti Monster created the world much as it exists today, but for reasons unknown made it appear that the universe is billions of years old (instead of thousands) and that life evolved into its current state (rather than created in its current form). Every time a researcher carries out an experiment that appears to confirm one of these “scientific theories” supporting an old earth and evolution we can be sure that the Flying Spaghetti Monster is there, modifying the data with his Noodly Appendage. We don’t know why He does this but we believe He does, that is our Faith.

Pastafarianism as a parody/satire of creationism. I suppose it's good for a piece of clever conversation. It attained the distinction as a cyberspace phenomenon when it demanded equal time with evolution and creationism from the kansas school board to be taught in the classroom in the event that the board granted creationism's petition.
Nonetheless, it's still a parody, not reality.

It is not that they must always be kept seperate. However it is important that they dont be confused andmis identified. There is nothing wrong with praying to God that a scientist will find the cure for cancer. But please do not ask be to teach FSM instead of th Big Bang theory in physics class.
