It would be a nice enhancement fot this site to offer a chess board so that when we are studying chess we could set up different positions.

That is what the "Think" button under each board is for.

I do under stand that my friend. My suggesting is for when you want to set up a position strictly for study. Not for an on going game. Thanks and have a great day.

you could go back to move one or any move where no pieces have been taken off yet and arrange them the way you need. that's what i do, hope that helps.

You may also want to practice positions with another member. If that is the case you will need now FEN notation
