“I fear the day when the technology overlaps with our humanity. The world will only have a generation of idiots.”
Just take a look:

Actually, technology is some sort of a gift, that surely more than a billion of people can't earn. Some(a majority, I agree) of those who can earn does sure do something like these photos. I'd just like to highlight the sentece would be, we say, more realistic, if it were:
"I fear the day when the technology overlaps with our humanity for those who think machines are perfect".

I meet every day this kind of idiots when I'm going to work with my bicycle...they don't look in front of them...they only watch at their smartphone ...it's very dangerous!

Not to worry. Just a case of technology enhancing man's self-absorption. Narcissus (50 BC) of the Greek mythology and George Harrison's "I, Me, Mine" are variations on the same theme. Technology may change. Human nature remains the same. No fear in being a true human. Forever humanist.

No change in sight along this line, o3bor52. Take it from Elafsson. "I fear the day when technology overlaps with humanity for those who think machines are perfect." Picture perfect--an idiot on a smartphone.
