I too have sent a message to the admin a few days ago, but it has not been answered. In fact, it has not even been read yet.
I presume it is safe to say that this website has been abandoned by its admin/webmaster. So this is the shameful end of this great website.. and the reason is not the moron who filled up the free games, the reason is that there is no more admin around. Well, as the Buddha said, transience is the nature of things.

So I have been looking around for other free chess servers like this, but I did not like what I saw. Compared to QueenAlice, they just do not seem to be a choice. So I had an idea.. maybe we can team up and build our own? We already have a web developer (which would be my humble self, of course we could use more), and we have HTH who would volunteer as an admin. Now we need a designer who can draw nice pictures of chess pieces, a server to put things on, and a way to pay said server.

What do you guys think?

I don't think we should be overly harsh with any critisim of the admin, he may have a good reason as to why he has been unable to assist presently.
Let us wait and see.
In the mean time, can we perhaps flush out someone rated 2700 to accept and then cancel the games???

I did not mean to criticise the admin, but merely point out the fact that a website needs constant administration or it will die eventually anyway.
And that is what I see happening here. So lets hope that I am mistaken ;-)

The open games are open for business! :-D

I would establish a minimum ratings range of 100. Agree or not?

100 point rating range is not sufficient. Suppose the range is 5000 to 5100? Phystutordotcom used to post games 3000 and above. But he only had 3 games posted. The the only player above 3000 is Bergman. I wonder who selected his games. The names kept changing.
