I am having trouble making sence of the my tourny page. I can't tell what games are ongoing, who has beaten who, etc. If someone could explain all of it to me, it would be appreciated.

Click on "My Tournaments", on the desired tournament from the list and then on "My Groups". You'll see a cross table with all players on both coordinates (X & Y). On each intersection you'll have a result if the game is over (1-0 white won, the player on the horizontal line won; 0-1 black won, the player on the vertical column won). If the game is not over yet you'll see the number of last move. Each intersection is a link that give access to the game. To calculate the score you sum 2 points for wins and 1 point for draws. Sorry if I can't make it more clear, my english is not so good.
