When I try to checkmate the opponent and click the move button, there is a message in red: "Could not make the move. Please try again".
Any advice?

try other browsers...clear cache...pray

Postpone checkmate for a move.

thanks Nickerson, that worked. Took me about 10 moves before the checkmate was executed, but better late than never.

Could be difficult in case of a stale mate
