Miguel, it's really been bad. This is the best chess site around, in my opinion, but poor access and performance is really hurting it. Several players have let their games expire; I sent reminders, but they still didn't play. I finally took the wins, and I see that others have, too, but now I wonder if those opponents were just discouraged by the problems.

had also big troubles to get the site (more than one minute) last two weeks. now it seems to work fine.

I'm still having trouble. When I joined late in 2004, I could reach the site in seconds. But over the past 12 months, I've found myself having to wait longer and longer to get here and for the different pages to load. Lately, it's taking up to 3 minutes.
I have a broadband connection (8Mbit), which seems to be fine based on other Internet activities.

Hi,
I thought it was a denial of service attack from
some Hacker or there might be a severe issue with
the server whatever it is let's hope it goes away.
Glad Queen Alice is back though!
