I see a large amount of Brazil players on this website. Why are there so many? Is chess very popular in Crazil?

Crazil, não: Brasil. Como todo mundo sabe, nós aqui temos dois esportes nacionais: o futebol e... o xadrez... Evidentemente, caro JPPLAY...
Crazil, not: Brazil. As everybody knows, we have two national sports here: football (soccer) and... the chess... Evidently, dear JPPLAY...

That is a question I would like to know the answer.
I think it is like what happened in Orkut...
Why? Really dont know. Why Queen Alice?
Chess is far from being popular here, csparrow. You can see even tennis, futsal, voleyball, maybe even snow-ski! Hahahaa!
But if it was the case, this do not explain why Queen Alice, and not some brazilian chess site. I dont know any brazilian chess site so good to play as here. And I know a lot of sites about soccer!
It looks to me some irrational. It looks like a lot of birds that somehow decided to turn around and go togheter to some direction!
