One other question, how do the ratings here stack up to USCF or FIDE? What is the spread. Thanks.

Queenalice is the best site but the ratings are astromicaly high. Ratings are something like 300 to 400 over FIDE´s... This is what guys who play OTB chess say. The normal in Correspondence Chess is to have a +200 over your over the board rating. There are many posts talking about this topic. Check it out!

we can't compare postal ratings with OTB ratings, they are completly diferent chess. I have a 2169 rating here, but on www.playchess.com (OTB) my rating is between 1600 and 1700.
:-(O)

playchess is not OTB. The term OTB refers to games played face-to-face, mano a mano.

Ratings here are inflated by correspondence standards. I have close to two dozen established chess ratings. QA is my second highest.

Correct if I am wrong, but does not OTB means something like "On table"... so it means "real chess" with real pieces, and 2 people face to face ?

...
For me the ratings on Queen Alice are really high ... But it can motivate people who would have lower ratings elsewhere... :-D

OTB stands for over the board
in person, real tournaments

I have no rating here yet, but I will compare it to my USCF when I am no longer provisional
