if a player has a king and one other peice left and the oponent only has a king how many moves are there before the game is drawn at a stalemate?

Only a king and one piece? No pawns on either side? Then it is an automatic draw - never mind stalemate - you can stop playing right away!

Obviously, by piece one means a bishop or a knight, NOT a Rook or a Queen.

your opponent should mate you within 50 moves to be able to call it a draw however I am not sure whether the chess program here in queenalice recognizes that. of course, if you are stalemated then its automatically a draw.
your opponent has a chance to win if the remaining 1 piece is a rook or a queen or a pawn (depending on the position). while a piece of either a knight or a bishop is technically a draw since there is no way that you can be mated with a knight or a bishop.
