Hello Miguel,
For the last 2 days, every time I move, my opponent has an additional 2 days to respond beyond the stated time control, i.e. 7 becomes 9 and 3 becomes 5. Then when it's my turn, I also get an extra 2 days. Was this intentional to account for any server downtime? Thank you,

Yes, there is a problem that causes the site to be down for about 1/2 hour every day, this is outside of my control unfortunately, my provider is working to resolve the issue, but in the mean time I added some time compensation for everyone.
The down time mostly affects Europe and Asia as it is day for them when this happens.
