I'm ok with the rating, but I have a question, if I play another low rated player and I win does my rating go down? this might discourage me from playing any low rated players in the future.

This seems good...we will all get used to the new rating and the system.  The crazyness of new players starting with 2600-3500 ELO is now ower. I think everything will go normal from now and mister Floridaflag or me will not losin more points with winning lower rated..!

Hello.
I believe that Miguel is making a great work. This seemed necessary and now we only have to accustom ourselves to have less points, but truer.

Of course not. The changes apply to provisional ratings only, the formula for established players is the same.
