The USA NFL has just started. I have a question to you all. I don't know the answer to this question so please help me to answer it. Will this be debated or not? This is the question.
Which is the real football? The USA NFL or the SOCCER?
Some people said that the USA NFL is like the Rugby and is not a football because they uses their hands to score in a game. Some people said Soccer is a football because they uses their foot to score in a game. They just use their hands on out of bounds.
Again, Which is the REAL FOOTBALL? The USA NFL or the SOCCER? Thanks for helping me to answer this question.

Hi Ray. I Think in the USA, Foootball is like Rugby.(American Football) The player using a oval ball that can be handled or kicked. The soccer players, using a round ball that is kicked but not handle 
Argentina love soccer, but said Fútbol!. Who is the best Team?? BOCA JUNIORS !!!

Are you kiding? What is soccer? I think it is the way you call the most popular game in the world!
We call it Football (English), Futbol (Spanish) or Futebol (Portuguese).
Your game, I mean the game that you use hands, we call it in Brasil: American Football!
I think you have to find another name to your game!

Masegui, I came to New York City, USA from the Philippines 1970. I'm an American Citizen and my race is a Filipino. There is no NFL in the Philippines but we have Soccer which we call it Football. When I came to New York I saw the NFL which they call it Football. I asked some people what they call for Soccer which is a Football in the Philippines. They said that Soccer is Soccer. So I'm asking you all which is the real football? the USA NFL or the SOCCER? I'm confused which is the real thing.
By the way, the National Sports in the Philippines is Basketball.

I made a joke, of course! But I still think that the real football is the game played all over the world. The americans call it soccer, but only the americans! It was invented by the English and they call it football... that's it.

I think people should hold anti-superbowl parties and talk about everything but football during the superbowl with the television off and concentrate on such things as tennis, fencing, and running.
