I'm quite new here (just a few minutes...), but already have my first game in progress.
47, married (to a chessplayer), mother of 2 children (one is a chessplayer).
I'm a member of the club Echecs.mat in Evry (about 30 kms south of Paris, France).
Player in 2 teams, and captain of the departmental team, and working hard (LOL) to become a Federal Referee...

Thank you Nerdling I already have a lot of fun here : most of the players are kind and polite. And I will soon join my first private tournament on QA....a hard time to come, considering the average rating of my "opponents-to-be", but, as we french people say, "he who does not risk anything never obtains anything"...
