I agree with Masegui...

I'm working as Masegui. In the past I had send reminders for everyone but many players make moves in the last hours of each move and this is a little boring so I just follow the chess rules: time out is K. O. with no mercy except for friends...

I think that the rule is there for some reason. I mean, if I don't want to put a time limit I put a 14 days/move (if you don't come back in 14 days, maybe you can't even remember the matchs you was playing). If you are playing a non-tournament match with no points you can break some rules, after all, its a friendly, but if you are playing for points (on a tournament or not) you have to do what rules say, and after p.e. 7 days without moving (or 3 or 14), you lost. I think that even if your rival does not claim the game, you should not move, because you lost. Some kind of auto-claiming pointed games.
Nobody would think of moving the Rook on a diagonal, nobody should think of move after time has passed.
