They don't need to know that much theory to beat a strong chess player in Chess960.

Indeed. After all, tactics and strategy count for nothing :-P

Tactics and strategy are very different from opening theory, and Chess960 bypasses the latter in favour of the former. It would be great if we could play it on Queen Alice.

I think we should focus on the regular game, instead of offering variants.
