Posting a message to the forums causes an extra slash to be added to all the URLS on the site: http://www.queenalice.com/page.html becomes http://www.queenalice.com//page.html . This doesn't affect the working of the site but does affect browser cacheing. Since the browser doesn't know that the two pages are really the same, it will ask for the page again, increasing the load on the server and potentially costing the site bandwidth charges. (Multiple posts to the forum don't cause multiple extra slashes to appear.)
