Yesterday afternoon, I'm sure I had more than a day left for one of my games (the one against GoodKnight). This afternoon, around 20 hours later, I came back to the game to find it marked `time exhausted'. Luckily, my opponent had not claimed the game on time and I've made my move.

Hmm, this is maybe [as a result of..], the "two clocks running" ["deadly"] effect... :-(

miguel wrote: You are incorrect. All the games that were lost on time would have been lost in the same way without the compensation, you forget to consider that the clocks on all games are incremented when there is time compensation! The players have more time to move, not less. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
No, no way , look at this: http://www.queenalice.com/playergames.php?id=2922 Member Losloper, he is super-strong player, he was lost 11. games in series [!!!], all [of course] => "time expired" status... It is a very obviosly, that this "two clocks running" system, are wrong...[or something else...]

Please, don't forget this a free site and don't forget also that Miguel uses his free time in order to offer he possibility to play free chess in our free time.
Also, there is a simple solution: Don't wait to make your move until you have less than one day in order Miguel can have time to fix the problem (if there is one) without causing you any difficulty.
I have had any problem.
Thanks. Manuel.
