I have read mesages in the past from others stating how slow the site can be at times, I would like to add living here on the west coast of Canada the site can be PAINFULLY slow, sometimes not available at all and often taking up to 5 minutes to connect or move around in the site. too bad because otherwise it is a very good place to play chess. thanks.

I have been using QA for a couple of years, and the last month os so has shown the site to be experiencing the extreme slowness elsware posted. I noted it in Jun but didnt say anything. I am in USA CA, have only broadband or higher connections, even on the Corps OC3 line it can take 1 to 2 minutes to load the site or navigate pages once in.

Its also been much slower to log in here on the Icecup..Miguel is always working on this. I dont know, but members have increased much since I started here 2004 member that time was about 1000 or 1100 but now they are 2500 and all the stuff,games and everything is also much more. Perhaps that is one of the reasons?..but likely other maine reasons. I guess this will be solved before the winter comes..HAPPY SUMMER!...Gambitshark

here is very hot now 20+..Wether chancing here much last 10 years or so,almost no snow in Reykjavík at winter time.. but is 80+ possible?..failwritng Gil?

in Iceland we use on tempature CELCIUS..I dont understand Faranheit..!..litle freeze in Reykjavík at winter..only about -2 to -8 or so..more in the north perhaps -10 to -15..(in Greenland is about: -40..!
