I think this is just more evidence that X days/all is not a sensible time control. Being able to move during vacations isn't really a problem for X days/move: OK, you get longer to think about one move but that's not so significant.

@Beco Unfortunately I haven't traveled for a long time :( I use my vacation when I'm busy. So if I don't know when will I have free time, it is best for me to take vacations 1 day at the time, in order to be able to move when I want to.

I just want to add: Correspondence chess should be about finding best moves, not about the clock and time presure. Clock should be there just to ensure that game will finish.
