In a swiss system #1 plays #11 in the first round. In my tournament #1 played #2 in round 1. This is a fundamental error in the pairing program. Can it be fixed?

The Swiss implementation used by this site does not sort players by rating before doing the pairings.

I agree with Phystutordotcom, Miguel. The swiss sustym should work the same as a tennis tournament, that the highest rated players can meet eachother only in the final. This occurs also in the QA OPEN tournaments. Often the highest rated players are in the same group in the second round, and the lowest rated ones in the other group.

As I've pointed out in another thread, the group selections for round-robin tournaments are also very badly done and can result in one group having an average rating several hundred points higher than another group.

I think the way it is now is great. It is called dinamo swiss system.
Please, take some time to read this: http://main.uschess.org/content/view/7854/381/

Could you explain the dinamo system. I couldn't find any info on it. Is it simply random?
