I accepted a challange from a player who has 6 wins, each one involving resignation after no moves. The player was on lengthy vacation and requested 14 day moves. is this a stratgey to unfailry get rating improvement? It was one of my first games on site. We are in 10 moves so i canoot cancel.

Well Chuck, this seems to be an ordinary trick to create rating artificially.

Queen Alice received two new players: "drago0999" and "Zyvaldo"
"drago0999" is supposed to be the actor to sacrifice.
"drago0999" opens 7 games against "Zyvaldo" and gives-up without 1 move.
"Zyvaldo" opens also 7 games against "drago0999", plays e4, and "drago0999" gives up.

New actor for the QA family: Sonolente"
"Zyvaldo" and "Sonolente" repeat the trick from the 9th. with 14 games, only this time, the points are handed over to "Sonolente"
"drago0999" opens also a game against "Sonolente" by mistake; it was not in the script, so hedeleted this one. (for us not to find out this geniuos tricks) (Zyvaldo makes the same mistake against his twin brother Zyzynho)

New Actor; "Tropesso"
"Tropesso receives also 15 (hé, not 14?) victories from "drago0999", in the period 14-19 september, and lives a long and happy life.
!!!Please Note: TROPESSO has still 15 ongoing games!

"Zynzynho" shows up, and looks to be like "Tropesso" , the other player who needs some help, to start his Chess-career on Queen Alice.
All those trick, by handing over rating points, were just to strew sand in our eyes. Because this time, only 6 game offers were needed to create the artificial "1780p." for "Zynzynho"
Two games won without moving from "drago0999" to create 1500p. and 4 wins from "Sonolente" to make it 1780p.
"drago0999" and "Sonolente" did not play anymore after 3 and 4 november.
"Zyvaldo" played only from 9 till 11 september, probably changed his name in "Zyzynho"
Both players have still 15 ongoing games. All of then 14 days/move + 14 days timebank. These games could continue for many years.
Both players were for the last time online at 11 november (did they add vacation days).
If they do show-up again, I hope someone will inform Miguel (the administration of this site), and complain about this practice.
52 decided games, not time-out games, without any move made!
This persons should be banned from this chess.site!

I think kloosterveen that you should kopy this 5 guys story to Miguel in message and ask him will he do something in this?..

After I thought a bit more about it, I will inform Miguel as well.
This kind of unethic practise of fixing games, should be stopped immediately.
