The server has been extremely slow for a while. The message 504 Gateway Time-out appeared on the left-hand upper-side column. I'd like to know if that technical problem has been solved so far.
I've found the site gets extremely slow (pages taking 30+s to load) when the graphic in the bottom left of the page indicates that there are more than fifty or so people logged in.
I was loading the pages fine with 71 users on, I doubt that's the problem.
There are times when the site is very slow, but IMO there are 2 types of slowdowns I've noticed.
1. It seems some sort of heavy load on the server (maybe by some other process, maybe a backup database dump etc..) 2. DNS slowness, though this isn't with your site and perhaps it's my dns, but DNS for this site can be slow, but again it won't be your site or servers.
