Greetings to ALL
I am going to "COMPLAIN" myself. I have
five wins in QA now for a rating of over
2200+. Two of my wins got me NO POINTS,
You see here is where the "COMPLAINT"
comes in. While Miguel is out here doing
his dead level best to present an excellent
Email Internet site for us to play Chess,
some people are worried about their ratings.
I have checked, again, with my Chess mentor.
He backs up Miguel in his assessment of the
rating system he is using. My mentor has
played in the US Chess Federation since 1968.
This date preceeds my first birthday by
several years. 
Further, my last game was a very tough one.
Why did I not win any points?! The reason
is because of the rating disparity: 2200+
versus 1700+. I believe when I started the
game we were both unrateds. This is just a
quirk of the system. It is no big deal.
After the twenty-five game Provisional- to
Established-Rating change things will settle
down somewhat. This should be liked by all
because higher rated players may then play
lower rated ones without losing those hard
earned points because of the rating ceiling.
And speaking of HARD EARNED POINTS: my
suggestion to geargiaflag, deepthougt_4_u,
Queenalice, and Chessman2005 is very simple
and concise. You boys better study up real
good 'cause there's a NEW CHESSPLAYER in
town, and HER last name "ain't" POLGAR.

URGENT MESSAGE TO MEMBERSHIP
Because of the way the EDIT function
works at QueenAlice my Email message
of Sunday 26 June was inadvertently
posted. I actually got tired of
messing with it trying to justify
right margins, misssssspelled words,
etc, and moved it to a Yahoo! Email
COMPOSE site for later redaction.
It has been posted as a Monday 27 June
post at 5:15 PM which is impossible.
However, from yesterday until today I
decided to junk it altogether and what
you see as posted at Monday 27 June at
5:10 PM is the result.
This is a different tone, and putting
the problem square in my lap and not
anyone elses. I still stand by the
comments posted and do not apologize
for them at all. I will be more careful
in the future and definitely very reticent
before posting in FORUMS again.

you are right, he should have learned that
in Pre-Algebra: percentages, add, sub, mult,
and div. Along with making deductions from
the answers you are given. Real simple stuff.
I was rude to myself for giving him too much credit.
One last thing, just before anyone reads
my post before this one as a REAL complaint
...YOU OBVIOUSLY DO NOT KNOW SATIRICAL
WRITING WHEN YOU READ IT!

And one last thing before I leave the
public library with my friends====>
...the ONLY point I am concerned with
receiving at Queen Alice is the one I
am given when the result of the game
is a Win.
When I don't get this one, all the ones
I have for rating points mean nothing!!

from the sounds of it you arent making too many.
I think you should stop playing 1700 if you are 2200...then complain about not getting points... just my opionon, not a page long or anything
