Yesterday was 11/11/11. A lot of people think 11/11/11 is a lucky day so there was a lot of marriages yesterday.

People in today's society need a lot more than luck to make a marriage work. Both men and women need to treat each other with respect. Honor your spouse. Its not the only answer, but it will do a lot to keep it all working as it should. Men especially need to tell their wives how much they appreciate them. I am old fashion I know, will celebrate 35 years of bliss this year. Not all were happy times, but when I reflect, it was those times when I did not treat my wife the best was the times our marriage was on the rocks. If your spouse treats you poorly, its at those time you should treat your spouse the best. It not about you. But the marriage.

It was my original plan to retire from chess (for the second time) but I decided that I needed to keep my brain active. I've never been married, so I can't retire from that! :-)
