From the two quotes seigneur uses, "During the first 25 games" makes sense; it's the one about playing 25 or more that's wrong. It should be "26 or more" or "more than 25". Anyway, we all thought that. If you could go back to my 25th rated game (almost 1500 games ago), you'd see I asked about it then!

As a player approaching the 25, er, 26 game mark, I am curious as to whether people find the provisional rating system an accurate predictor of their playing strength. That is, did your rating decrease or increase significantly as you began to play as an established player?
