Aha, the mysterious and annoyingly ubiquitous Foot Dragger!!
<imagine horror film music: "impending threat", at this point>
Nothing will stop Foot Dragger in his relentless campaign to undermine our sanities, our fun in playing and fair sportsmanship in general, wherever he finds it! The hired gun, working for spouses, girlfriends and all those other deluded dastards who think we spend too much of our precious time on QA. A force of evil indeed.
Once, we had him trapped in some narrow cyber corner, but to our horror, he transformed into almost a thousand swarming copies of himself!
Ever since that debacle, this saboteur of all that is civil and decent makes up almost 25% of our membership. The rest of us just have to live with that. Still, there is no chess site better than QA. There is no chess site better than QA. Fnord.
Fauquinelle.

Unfortunately, we're stuck with foot draggers. What they do is rude, although not illegal. OTOH, since some of us are so prone to error, they do have a point in keeping the game going (waiting for an error), although it would be nice if they played more quickly.

I'd feel a bit sneaky reporting him to Miguel because the real reason would be that he'd annoyed me so much rather than him abusing multiple identities. |
You seem very confused. Yet it's very simple. Follow my earlier advice. If you don't, then you're guilty of withholding information and may even be an accessory.
You really need to step outdoors occasionally.

I don't think he's waiting for a mistake, the positions are straightforward, the results are certain. I think he's trying to boost his grade by delaying the loss.
Anyway I have no objection to someone playing on in a lost position, it's playing on at seven days/move when previously they were playing at a reasonable rate that gets me.
If you don't, then you're guilty of withholding information and may even be an accessory. |
I'm listening to all advice but please don't tell me what to do.

...please don't tell me what to do. |
It was caution rather than instruction. But I thought you'd understand that. What I don't quite understand is the topic of your thread.
