I have also had this happen and have found that in all such cases my opponents have come from countries where they don't play cricket.

Yes the reason is: in most countries they don't play cricket ;-)

In my experiance this only happens with opponents that come from countries where they don't play Quidditch.
I realize that few countries play Quidditch. I wonder are there more countries that play Quidditch than Cricket?
