cpstar... you can edit your comment where you linked the game and delete it. ;-)

i guess, as players, we gain a lot from other's perspective and the advises from the elite players in this site.

i learned patience and respect altogether by playing in this site and its so nice to have people share their ideas and how the game of chess should be played.

csadler, the losing player is entitled to play out the game. You win by checkmating him, not by whining about your superiority. (you are 1930 here which means you are probably a Class C or B player in real life. You are more than capable of making a game losing blunder in a won position. Heck, Nigel Short dropped a full rook on move 100 and something in the World Championship in Tripoli. And Short played Kasparov for the title back in the 90's.
Bottom line, treat your games here like a real chess tournament. "No disturbing you opponent when his clock is running."

And in reality, you are showing a lack of class by even asking the person to resign. Go play in a USCF sanctioned event and tell the TD that my opponent is not resigning when I think he should. He will laugh at you and tell you to finish him off. (and call you a baby behind your back).

I would not ask someone to resign, as I have won some games that looked completely lost. Admittedly this is rare, especially as I am not a good player. People do have moments of inspiration so I like an opponent to play on.
