I've been on Queen Alice for quite a while, and still play here but play more on Chess.com now. I'm not sure how much you can play there for free, but I have some friends at work that I play there, and I know they don't pay. Its ratings are much more accurate than here. Of course correspondence and OTB are not the same, but I'm 2000+ here, while 1595 at Chess.com; my USCF OTB is only 1525.
