Xadrez Basico by Orfeu D'Agostini |
Another one here! Great book! Today, outdated for experts, still of great value for beginners.
As soon as they publicize a new edition with algebric notation, I will buy another!
Cheers, Beco.

"Xadrez Básico" was my second book, and it is on the shelf right by my side, still in excellent condition (almost 40 years old!). A great book. I think it was inspired by Reuben Fine's books, or Euwe's, as it was fashionable, in the 50's, to write manuals, all in one, about openings, middle-game, and endings. It is excellent for beginners.
