Following is an example of checkmate:

Flip

But White has Kg1.

Better still, play continues:

1. Kxf2 Bxf2 ½-½ (insufficient mating material) :-P

You and and Ounceupon are correct. The white king could move next to the white bishop, and thereby get out of check, since it would be protected.

It is true that I made a mistake, but your comments at least show that you understood what I was trying to say.
Therefore, it must make some sense to you guys at least, (even if you think it is a stupid idea.) :-)

I should have posted something like the following position instead:

Flip

Above, is a true PKC checkmate.

Note: Above is not a true checkmate (as Onceupon astutely recognized,)
since the king can move to a protected spot on the board, or the bishop may move to protect him.

In PKC chess, the object could simply be stated as trying to capture the opponent's king without losing your own.

(That is not the best way to word it, however. I will post more on that later, as well as something else that I recently realized should be included in the rules.)

If KxK, whether protected or not, you "lost your own [king]", so you lost.

Maybe we should just let you vomit all of your stupid ideas and ignore you, because it doesn't seem like you're going to use your brain and stop otherwise.

This is a worse example, since now we have two possible responses:

Ke2
or
Be2 :-P

Ounceupon

Well, I have gained a little weight /:-(

If it's a stupid idea, what else would matter? :-/

Oh, God. No! :-(
