I seems like it would be natural for the site to do a direct fen conversion, regardless of whether or not both kings were present.
So what's to stop both Kings coming under attack on successive moves? |
I recently realized that successive king attacks could occur, based on the rules as I explained them thus far.
There are are 2 possible solutions to this "problem."
1. Add a rule that players lose the ability to put there opponent in check when they are in check.
2. Do nothing, and probably lengthen the game.
The first option should be used in PKC Chess 2. Perhaps the second could be used in a PKC Chess 3.
Thus, in PKC Chess 2, If White moved Re8, Black could not move Rc1, since he was in check. Therefore, Black would be in checkmate, as in regular chess.
