Speaking of odd openings,I see a post by void who plays the crab opening 1.a4 2.h4 .Does this stuff come through a psycic medium or is there a rational plan? ;-)

Yes, I play the crab opening. Lock me in a cell and throw away the key cause I think I'm gonna loose that game. %-)

Some players always play wird openings or that who is called here crab openings..its just freedom you know! It remember me of good icelender chessplayer booth over the board and corres thats very often opened with this VOID move:1.a4..he won some games.
For some years I was working as guarder at mental illnes hospital and one day I was looking after some person. We sit down and go to play chess. My opponet looked strange eyes to me and opened the game with 1.a4 followed by 2.Ra3.. The game ended in draw. The next game I won in normal opening. The game after that my opponet look fighting eyes to me and opened with 1.h4 followed by 2.Rh3..another draw..That guy was the iceland chessplayer I mentiod first..
Perhaps Void will visit him if he give Iceland visit in the future...! 8-)

wow, that's cool... i assume the person you mentioned was a patient?
That is really weird having your caliber play a draw with that guy means something. That guy must have extra-dimensional mind to play chess at a competitive leve.
